I'm watching this show for the first time this season- I'm curious with the new concept. It is 4 years in the future from last season- which is a really good idea. The problem with this show was that these people were divorcing and having kids- yet they were still in high school. At least now they are portraying 20somethings.
Well the acting is still god awful and it is highly pretentious- but of course I will keep watching!!
So what happens in the episode?
At the beginning it shows Lucas with some new girl living in Tree Hill after he has published his novel. It then flashes back to three years before- which is the year after their high school graduation.
Lucas is the assistant coach for Whitey for Nathan's college basketball team- they won the championship and then Lucas becomes the coach. Nathan and Haley's son Jamie is walking and being a baby.
Peyton is in LA working in the mailroom for a record company- Lucas goes out to propose to her but she says no since she wants to work on her career. Lucas then of course finds out his novel is being published so he rushes to New York to meet his editor (the girlfriend from the beginning). There he runs into Brooke who is doing her clothes over bros thing with her mother- Daphne Zuniga from Melrose Place. Nothing terribly exciting. I'm more curious what happens in the present time. but I guess they had to explain how they got there.
Oh it shows Hailey with short hair and Nathan on crutches. Brooke is in Tree Hill but it doesn't explain why.
