Oh god I am so excited about this- my BritBrit is back! Go Britney!!

The poor girl looks so zoned- obviously the meds. Obviously she needs them but she has dead eyes

It is nice to see her dad taking care of her and controlling everything but he should have done this years ago. She needed parenting when she was a child to try to avoid all the future craziness!

Her accent seems to have gotten super strong- I don't remember it being that thick when I used to watch Britney and Kevin Chaotic

I do take offense to the whole not being able to be free- there are a LOT of really big celebrities that move around and lead normal lives without the paps. If she really hated the attention she could leave LA- Demi went to Idaho and Julia went to New Mexico. She's just not smart enough unfortunately. And she lives off the attention

Is it just me or is there not a lot of content with this documentary- I want more interviews not all the crowd shots and scenes set to music

Oh I love that she is in LA because her babies daddy is there- it would have been better if she had seen baby daddy but it was still good.

Again- she is saying that the paps ruin her life yet she has been known to call them.

My god this girl is just so sad- she seems like a trapped bird. She needs to grow up a bit and get a huge amont of councilling- she has no idea who she is.

Oh I didn't realize that we were going to see Madonna in this. Man Madonna's face is just making me sad- she has just had SOOOOO much work. I mean it all looks smooth but she doesn't really look like herself. It's the cheeks that freak me out the most.

Oh and here comes the Kabbalah- no wonder she agreed to do this. Her face does look healthier than it has in years. As long as she keeps the scary man arms covered it's not that bad I guess

So I'm blogging during this- lately I have been stamping but I feel like ass. God I am still hoping this isn't shingles but the nausea, pain and fever isn't helping the cause.

I really want Toni and Dallas to win- I'd just like to see an older person win for once and Toni hasn't really pissed me off- other than naming her son Dallas of course.

Twilight- the movie

It is no secret that I hated the books. I read them with the hope that they would get better- I kept reading hoping that it would give me some satisfaction in the end. It didn't. The concept of the books is great- that's what lured me in. Love me the teen vampire love. But the execution was piss piss poor!!

Well I have now received the satisfaction I was waiting for- Twilight the Movie!! I give it two BIG thumbs up!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. By far the laugh out loud comedy of the year! Seriously- I laughed, I cried. It was so bloody funny- and it was never ever supposed to be funny which made it better. Yes I'm lucky to have made it out of the theater alive since there were some Twilight lunatics who were probably offended I was laughing so hard and couldn't keep quiet- it was inate!! It's not my fault that people can't see that it is complete useless drivel.

The movie actually followed the books pretty much to a t- unlike my shopaholic which has been BUTCHERED! Tangent- I saw the preview tonight and they have Gia from Veronica Mars playing Suze. Suze- the blonde upper crust british roommate has been replaced by a skinny black haired American. Urg

Ok back to Twilight. Robert Pattinson was a sexy beast as Cedric Diggory. And yes there are moments when he looks normal and relaxed and incredibly hot. But for the most part he looks awkward and stiff and uncomfortable. It is truly painful to watch. He reminds me of the big guy from Legally blond who won't make eye contact and is awkward all the time. That is what he looks like. And the hair- they hair truly offends me. There were 2 scenes in the whole movie where it was down and looked normal. The rest it was teased and sprayed within an inch of its' life into a god awful pompadour. SOOO BAD. And the makeup- the amount of foundation on this guy is atrocious. But when he's just natural and rocking a suit or a grey t shirt it rocks- the guys body is amazing. But in his defense there really isn't much to do with this part- it's written poorly.

Bella is how I pictured her- boring and surly and short. I don't understand how she has relationships with others- she says nothing yet they all love her.

That is the biggest problem with the movie- if you haven't read the book you will just not get what all the hype is. Obviously you will be able to follow it since a spider monkey could but you won't get the hype. Nothing is explained or followed through on and it makes no sense that these two people fall in love so quickly. There is no interaction- the communication is atrocious. And painful to watch- which makes it so goddamn funny!

And the acting...oh the acting! It's like they spent all their money on the two leads so the rest of the cast was hired from the local strip mall. The parents were sooooo bad- hopefully they go and chillax and take some acting lessons before the next installment.

I don't want to give a lot away but I tell you it's ridiculously funny- we were all hysterically laughing. So if you are looking for a funny movie to see with your friends I do recommend this. Trust me- you'll enjoy yourself

It's Officially Time for an Intervention

I have developed an insanely disturbing habit...I am watching all of the "I Love" tv shows constantly!! This is just the worst programming on television. I mean Rock of Love, I love New York, I love Money, Charm School and now Real Chance of Love with those two repulsive brothers from I love New York. I HAVE TO STOP!!! These are the most disgusting humans and I can't stop watching.

I mean first the brothers- they claim to be musicians...sure. And the long flat ironed hair with the goatee- it makes me puke a bit in my mouth. And the grammar...THE GRAMMAR!!! What the hell is wrong with these girls that they are fighting over these two retards?!?!?

Then I love money. I swear these people actually have some learning disabilities. The one guy has a post it on his bedroom door that says "ladies" and underneath he taped up the results of his last STD test. SEXY!! I couldn't breathe I was laughing so hard. The rest of them have such very illustrious careers like pizza delivery men

Then there's charm school- good lord. Make it stop. Someone come over and make me turn these off!!

I mean they are actually really funny shows but I'm just laughing at them all. Actually it can make me feel better about my own life since these people have serious issues...

New Celeb Baby Name

Urg. I already hated Ashley Simpson but I hate her even more after this baby name. Bronx Mowgli!!! BRONX MOWGLI!!! What the hell kind of name is that?!?! First off Bronx- this kid will NOT be tough with two big douches like that for parents. Second- MOWGLI!! I always hated the Jungle Book and it is a retarded name. Idiots.

I just learned that they have not ordered any more episodes of Pushing Daisies and essentially have cancelled the show. These people are retarded. They air complete drivel like Private Practice and crap like Grey's but pass on a charming critically acclaimed show like Pushing Daisies!??! Which could have gathered them awards?!!? Idiots.

The also cancelled Dirty Sexy Money which I enjoyed.

America's Next Top Model

I think Analeigh has this in the bag. I just don't like Mckey- I hate that she's called McKey and her weird side mouth. Plus the hair really really bothers me. I like Sam's personality but she is a bit too butch to be a top model

I think Samantha does look really forced when she smiles- compared to the other two it is not natural.

Oh god Analeigh the talking is awful- but let's remember that for the most part models don't talk.

Yuck I hate McKey's hair slicked back too. I am just not a fan. Tali said she would win and she probably will- yuck. I prefer Analeigh!

Ok McKey has this in the bag- there is no way that Samantha can win this. Once again I was horrible at picking the winner- I never would have picked those two to be in the final two.

Confessions of a Shopaholic Trailer

What the hell?!??! Why do people keep taking books that I love and making them into crappy crappy movies?!?! First The Other Boleyn Girl and now this?!?! WHAT THE HELL!?!? Why take a book that is fantastic and fun and well written for the genre and change it?! She's AMERICAN?!!? WHAT?!?! I'm telling you they are trying to ruin my life. The entire charm of these books to me are single gals living fabulously in London- that is the appeal! Sophie Kinsella, Marian Keyes, Madeleine Wickham (aka Sophie Kinsella)- that is what I like!!! And Isla Fisher is Australian- she could have done a damn accent!! So disappointing...

Sad

I'm in the middle of watching Nicole Kidman on Oprah and it is just making me sad. Why oh why did she do this to her face?!! The lips look deformed and she can't even really fully smile since her cheeks have been so pumped full of crap. I mean she hasn't gained any weight elsewhere but the face has new weird bulges....Everyone goes on and on about her forehead being scary but it's the bottom of her face that's so sad. So so very very sad. I also don't understand why she is leaving all the white roots around her face.

Oh even more sadness- her trying to pretend that she is still involved with her other 2 children. This woman just makes me feel so very very sad....I miss my Moulin Rouge Nicole!

OBAMA WON!!!

My god the Americans finally got it right!! While I do feel bad for McCain I'm still ecstatic the democrats are finally back in power!!

I am just watching McCain's concession speech and it is very well done. He is a very good public speaker. He is a likeable man- I don't agree with many of his policies or his running mate but he is a good man.

Ok here comes Obama- thank god. I'm exhausted and sick and want to go to bed but I feel I need to see this. Love that he brought out his family and they were all introduced as the first family

He is such an eloquent speaker- I really like his voice. It is so important to have a leader that is a good speaker. The US has not had this since my Bill Clinton. Unfortunately Canada hasn't been led by a good speaker since Mulroney!!

I have to say I love how diverse the audience is there.

Ok the earned the new puppy line- that was super cute.

Another One Bites the Dust

Deanna and Jesse from the last Bachelorette have officially broken up. I mean they were never a good match anyway- as Patti put it today she was too hoity for him. I have to say this story actually made for a pretty funny afternoon- I sent this link to Patti, Lisa and Chantale and right away the emails started flying. General consensus- Deanna just needs to go away now. Although the majority seems to love Jason and wants him to stay clear of her I could care less- he was incredibly boring and whinny to me.

Three Cups of Tea

I just read this book for my book club and while the meeting is not for another 2 weeks I still had to write about it. This is by far one of the best books I've read in ages!! It is soooo inspiring!! It is about a climber who goes to the Karakorum in Pakistan to climb K2 but ends up sick in a small village. He befriends the villagers and vows to come back to repay them for their kindness by building them a school. This turns into his life work and he ends up building schools all over Pakistan and Afghanistan. It truly shows what one person can do- and one not rich person at that.

I mean Oprah did go to South Africa and spend millions and millions on one school for girls. Of course it's great she did that for them. But this guy can go to Pakistan and build a school for $12000 and change a community. Just think what all that money of hers could have done!! And he's not trying to westernize or influence them- he simply wants them to have an education to better their lives.

Amazing. Definitely definitely definitely go read this!!

US Election

Just a quick little blurb about my feelings about the American election. Going into it I'm pretty sure that Obama has this in the bag. I still would have preferred Hillary but she just didn't have the star power and awe. While I obviously would like a Democrat to be in power I truly don't believe he has the experience needed. There is a lot of hype about him- first black president blah blah blah- but really is he qualified?!!? There was the selection of Joe Biden which I support- at least he picked someone who is experienced and may be able to advise him. But if you look at the two presidential candidates on their own McCain is by far the better choice. I really like McCain- he has proven himself in office and he seems like a good guy. Unfortunately he is trying to pick up the pieces of a shattered reputation for the Republicans after the Bush years. But he made a FATAL mistake in his candidacy- and that was choosing a retard as a running mate. I think he could have one this easily if he had not chosen her. She just ruined all of his chances- nobody wants to elect that retard. Actually I have spoken to people who like how she "speaks to the people". But they also obviously have issues.

Anyways- it will be interesting to see what Barack actually does with all the pressure and if he can live up to the hype
