I couldn't be less excited about this movie. SJP=as much of a fashion icon as Gwen Stefani (i.e. if you think one is, then both are, and you're apparently hypnotized by people who match plaid and polka dots) plus she's more irritating than diaper rash, Kim Cattrall is a skank who is best portrayed by Christina Aguilera in the SNL Sex and the City sketch ("I'm a tranny baby, yeah"), Kristin Davis has no range beyond her character on this show, and Cynthia Nixon needs to disassociate from this show since she actually has demonstrated talent elsewhere (okay, only on guest appearances on House and ER, but still quite good performances).
I couldn't agree more!! SJP is not a FASHION icon- have you seen Carrie's underwear?!?! And the exposed bras?!?! Plus it's all Patricia Field- not SJP. Plus I'm going to say something controversial- the show is overrated. Overrated people. I mean I enjoyed it as much as the next person when I first saw it...but it does not stand up in my opinion.
